This isn’t another aging-in-place checklist

It’s a 4-week experience that helps you name what’s been keeping you stuck, take real action in your own home, and build a personalized plan for the years ahead

If you’ve ever picked up a “home safety” guide and immediately felt
your stomach tighten — not because you’re not ready to act,
but because nothing about it felt like you —
you’re in exactly the right place

This experience is for you if...

  • You're in your 60s or beyond
  • You love your home and intend to stay in it
  • You’ve glanced at aging-in-place checklists and felt overwhelmed
  • You’re worried that making your home safer will involve clinical-looking changes
  • You’re not in crisis. But you’re finally ready to stop deferring this
  • You don’t need anyone to tell you to accept aging
  • You need a guide who understands that preparing your home is an act of agency, not surrender
If that sounds like you… you’re exactly where you need to be.

By the end of this experience, you will have…

  • Stopped putting this off
  • Done a purposeful home walk-through
  • Made at least one meaningful change to your home
  • Created a personalized, prioritized home modification plan
  • Developed the language and confidence to stay in charge of your project
  • Traded "Have I handled this?" for "I've handled this" – no more 3 AM wake-up calls from your conscience
  • Kept a home that still looks like you

You'll be able to say: “I used to avoid thinking about this. Now I have a plan, I’ve made real changes, and I feel like I’m choosing how to live.
Not waiting for something to happen to me.”

Hi, I’m Anne

Healthy Aging Advocate

I know the quiet sting of feeling less visible as you age, the sense that people are listening politely, but not truly interested.

I've resisted the label "old" and wondered whether my relevance was fading. That emotional landscape is exactly where you may be standing, too.

But I also bring something most people in this space don't: I've lived it. In my fifties, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Facing real uncertainty about my future in my own home, I didn't wait. I took action. When we remodeled our 1950s home, I brought a deliberate eye to universal design, accessibility, and aging in place.

I went on to earn three professional certifications in these topics — not to build a business, but because I genuinely needed to understand this for myself.

The result is a home that is beautiful, not clinical. Not institutional. I entertain with ease and welcome people of all ages into a space I'm proud of.

And when I had an unexpected hip fracture last fall, I came home from the hospital without fear because I had already taken care of myself.

That confidence is what I want to give to you.

FAQ

You've been thinking about this long enough.

  • You're 60+, you love your home and your independence. And you've quietly known for a while that you should probably do something about the aging-in-place question
  • You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to get started thoughtfully, on your own terms, with someone who has been through it and can guide you through it, too
  • You can keep waiting. You can keep telling yourself you’ll get to it when things settle down or when there’s a clearer reason to act. Or you can be the woman who handled this, beautifully, intentionally, before you had to
  • Your home already holds the life you’ve built. This experience helps you make sure it’s ready to hold everything that’s still ahead

We start July 9
